WØEEA Skeds

I have been receiving numerous sked requests, mostly from other users of eQSL.
For the most part I am not in a position to accept any of them at this time.
Looking at my logs since I moved to Colorado, I find that over 95% of my contacts have
been made during contests. If you want to work me the best time is during a contest.
I'll be on for most of ARRL and CQ's contests and as many others as I can manage.

WØEEA operating Field Day 2006 class 2E

Using the battery stack configured as four 12V 1000 AH batteries.
The top battery powered an inverter for room lights, computers, rotors, etc.
The middle two each powered an Icom IC-756 ProIII. The bottom 12V section was held as a spare.
The spare was not needed. We checked the batteries every few hours and found that we could have
operated in the manner we did this weekend for several more days before we came anywhere near the battery's limits.

This picture with the camera's flash on shows more detail on the battery stack.
It feels very strange and quiet to be operating in there with almost everything turned off.
Usually there are many fans in the power amps running all the time but not during Field Day.

For this Field Day the antennas we used were all dipoles. We checked 6M once in a while
but it never really opened well while we were listening so we never needed the rotors.
We have permits to build five towers, but are still waiting for the base plates and anchors to arrive.
